Good Deeds Done Dirt Cheap

I got my fellow peeps at Borders to agree to donating 50% of our tips to the Red Cross to help the people in New Orleans. I started it today, made a cool little sign and put it on our tip jar. It was filling up nice, one lady and I talked about it for a little while, and she put in a $5. But my cafe manager saw the sign, and since we are a Seatles Best they don't allow non-SBC signs anywhere in the cafe. Plus, our tips get taxed, so we have to figure out how we'll "officially" do this. So, I took down the sign, and we still took 50% of the money in there, which amounted to $15- not bad for only like 5 hours of tipping, and I'll be giving it to the Red Cross. Hopefully we can figure it out so we can continue our good deed. Spread the Love.
