When It Rains, It Pours

A few weeks ago I finally had it with Borders, and I started looking for other jobs. Right away my friend told me that her company was in need of an assistant, so we got that going. I had that interview, and then the next week, another friend called to see if I needed a job because her company needed an assistant. I set up an interview for Thursday, and then the next day, my HR manager tells me that our current CSR has put in her two weeks notice and if I am still interested in the position, to apply. (!!!!!) I couldn't believe it, everything was happening so quickly. And later that same day, this woman who runs her own event company, whom I had sent my resume to, emailed me and we set up an interview for Friday afterwork, my CSR interview was Friday during work. Crazy.

Most of it went well, the CSR interview didn't seem to go well. The guy was a bit of a jerk and I felt that from the moment I met him that he didn't like me at all. I was really hoping that the first company I interviewed with would call me for the job, but they haven't, and I doubt they will since it has been 1 week since the interview. And my friend from that company left for vacation the day before my interview so I can't ask her what's going on. Oh well, the others are still good opportunities. It wil just be nice to get out from Borders, do something a little more meaningful with my degree, and get more money. So keep your fingers crossed for me!
