Christmas :)

This year Christmas just came upon me too quickly, I hardly had time for it all to sink in. Christmas eve I went to the McQ's house, watched "It's a Wonderful Life" for the first time. Good movie. Christmas morning we opened gifts. I received some very nice stuff from Greg's family, Spongebob goodies, lotions and other bathroom stuff, and from Greg I got the most beautiful pair of diamond earings. Totally unexpected, and I was almost too afraid to open the white, velvet "Zales" box. I wasn't the only surprised person, Brian (greg's dad) was totally shocked when we handed him a beautiful, blue, hollow-body electric guitar. And Greg I kept in slight suspense by first giving him photo paper for his printer, and then had Beth (his sister) drop this HUGE box on his lap later. It was an Epson 4990 photo scanner, very nice and something he will get a lot of use from.

Back at my house it was also a very nice Christmas, giftcards to my favie places- Victorias Secret, Macys, and Nordys, then Sephora items from Karina, a gap shirt, and a Spongebob version of that "Barrel of Monkeys" game. I just finished stuffing myself with good food, and am eager to try dessert. We've been watching Xmas themed movies all day...and sadly our TV is being weird and is kind of frozen just showing us DVD's. We can't switch to TV, hell we can't even turn the darn thing off!

Freedom!!

Today was my last final. My group and I did our marketing strategy presentation and I just have a few minor edits to do to 2 essays for that class, and I'm done. Horray! It has been a bit of a struggle this semester going back full swing to school and starting full time work. the thought of not continuing this part of my education crossed my mind many a time. But, I just have to keep my head up, and know that at my age I am doing myself a favor getting this over with now, and I will have plenty of time soon enough for work and play.
