Blonde Moment

The other day I was at work, doing my thing, and an Instant Message pops up. I didn't really look at the name, and for whatever reason I thought it was my coworker Charrise. She's talking about how she's broke, and is stressing about money, and I am trying to be supportive. Then she goes into how her car is in the shop and she is afraid to call and find out what is wrong with it, and then she asks if I want to call them. I figured she was joking, and I said I would. Then I inquired about what was wrong with her car, and she says "You should know, I called you in the middle of the night when I broke on me." At that moment I was lost- Charrise never called me....but Greg did.

This whole time I was talking to Greg, and I seriously did not know it. He was a little scared, so I called and explained myself. We were both laughing. And Charrise sits in the cube next to me, so she could hear our conversation and was laughing herself. The lesson today children, is to pay attention to who you are speaking to. Because next time, you could end up saying something to the wrong person that could screw you over. So pay attention!
