Finally an Update!
I’m not even going to bore you with my excuses for not updating my blog in...3 months (cringe). In short the past three months have been good, been working hard, but of course leaving enough time for fun. Recently went on vacation to Austria and Germany. In Austria stayed with my fabulous grandmother, she taught me to play golf. Then took the train into Munich, Germany where I met my long-time friend Michaela. Toured around the city, then did a day at Oktoberfest- was totally amazing! Drank from 11am to 11pm. Hopefully most of you saw the pictures. On a healthier note- I have begun training for a half-marathon I am running in Bath in March. So far so good, longest I have gone is 8 miles in about 74 minutes. Still not playing football (soccer) which is sad. I really miss it.
Been looking at continuing my MBA. Took a trip to London one day back in August to check out a University. It was nearly perfect- except for being in London. I know that may sound crazy to some of you, but I am not ready to move from Bristol. I really like it here. Plus London is very expensive, would probably be cheaper for me to just commute from Bristol to London if I did go there. But not sure I like that as an option. Starting to look at MBA’s closer to Bristol, have two options, University of Bath or University of West England. Won’t know anything for sure until later next year, and if I did start, it would be Fall 2008. We shall see.
In November I’m going to Paris for the first time. Going for 4 days, should be fun. Hoping to take a day trip to Normandy to check out Mont Saint Michel; a tidal island. Quite cool. Figure I should get in one last trip before going home for Christmas mid-December. Be home for about 3 weeks, will fly by. Lots of people to see, snow to ski on, shopping and spending quality time with my car. I miss my precious. Though I am looking to get a car here, I just can’t take public transit all the time, sometimes you just want to be able to take off without having to consult train schedules. My only setback is not knowing how to drive stick-shift, but my friends who are selling me their car are willing to give me lessons.
Okay think I am getting ahead of myself telling you what I’ll be doing in December- if I do that then what knew news will I have to share with you! I’ll try to update this more frequently- should have SOMETHING to write about after this weekend- big rugby match between England and France Saturday night and a friend birthday party- good times! X
